The Polar and Wild Rose Regions of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) are holding PCA's second of 2026's Alberta High Performance Drivers Education (HPDE) events, in partnership with title sponsor Sheni's Auto-Trend. We are returning for a full day track day at Strawberry Creek Raceway on August 9, 2026. Registration is limited to maximize the driving sessions. You will be wait-listed if our maximum is reached (register selecting the "Wait List Option").
Register before July 20 to get the Early Bird Discount ($50)
Sheni's Auto-Trend / PCA WRR HPDE Powered by Porsche Centre Calgary and Modern Auto Body is open to the general public. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. SCR has a 92 db sound restriction. In addition to lapping sessions for everyone, novice track participants will benefit from PCA’s HPDE (High Performance Driver Education) This will include a pre-requisite classroom training held prior to track day to maximize seat time, as well as on track training, consisting of a national certified instructor sitting in the passenger seat during all the sessions, providing one on one instruction. You will be enrolled in the robust, PCA HPDE Program designed to help you learn and lap

Registrations are limited for Novice and Beginners. You will be wait-listed if our maximum is reached (register selecting the "Wait List Option").
Fees (CAD)
- PCA Member Participant Primary Driver Fee is $495. Registrations prior to July 20 will receive a $50 early bird discount.
- PCA Member Secondary Driver (sharing a vehicle in the same run group as the primary driver) is $249. Registrations prior to July 20 will receive a $25 early bird discount
- PCA Member Intermediate/Advanced Driver without instruction is $295. Registrations prior to July 20 will receive a $25 early bird discount.
Additional Fees:
- Non-PCA Member: $50
- Spectators: $30 (includes lunch)
EVENT SCHEDULE
Location: Strawberry Creek Raceway - 2042 Township Rd 504, Thorsby, AB T0C 2P0
Date: Sunday, August 9, 10 AM- 5 PM Please be there early on time for 10 AM, to give yourself time to check-in and perform the Grid Inspection, if not already performed at Classroom session.
Registration: 10 - 11 AM
Event End: 5 PM
Lunch will be provided. Indicate any food restrictions when registering.
NOTE: This is a WRR organized event. If you have questions or concerns, you must contact the registrar. Do not contact the track.
Event requirements
Participants must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid drivers license.

Helmet Requirements
All helmets must carry the Snell Foundations certification (orange sticker usually located under the foam inside the helmet. The helmet safety standards are updated every five (5) years, the current standard for auto-racing helmets being 2025. The “SA” designation is generally required for automotive use and the “M” designation is for motorcycle use. Read about these standards at the Snell Foundation Web site: http:www.smf.org

We will permit M rated helmets for non-Advanced/Intermediate drivers. This differs from our Autocross which are run at slower speeds. NOTE: You must provide your own helmet. Some spare helmets are available; or helmets may be rented at the track. If you drive a fully prepared open car (full roll cage, etc) you are required to use a full-face helmet with the shield in place. If you drive a coupe or sedan you may wear any style of approved helmet.
