CCCR PCA Drive to Jalama State Beach and the Famous Jalama Burger

Enjoy a beautiful drive through the back roads of Santa Barbara County to Jalama Beach State Park, just south of Vandenberg Space Force base. If you have not tried the famous Jalama Burger, you are in for a special treat! We will start at Porsche San Luis Obispo, drive through roads east of Santa Maria, to Los Olivos, then on to Solvang. Our first stop will be at the remote Nojuqui Falls Park. We will travel north on 101 to Buellton, then on the back roads to Highway 1. From there, on to our destination, Jalama State Beach. We will enjoy a no host lunch at the Jalama Grill right on the beach. Total drive time will be around 2.5 hrs.
For those who would like to join the drive in Santa Maria, you can join the drive from Poppy's Restaurant on Betteravia Rd., Santa Maria
Start Time:
8:15 at Porsche San Luis Obispo, sign waivers, donuts and coffee supplied by the Porsche SLO. Leave a 9:00am.
South County drivers will meet at Pappy's Restaurant at 9:00am to sign waivers then join the group as we pass by, around 9:30
The drive will be limited to 20 cars due to the capacity at the Jalama Grill.
Event requirements
Please bring water and appropiate clothing, Jalama State Beach could be cool, while the drive may be warm..
